What you can explore in Kashmir
Discover the enchanting beauty of Kashmir. Immerse yourself in the picturesque landscapes and cultural treasures of Srinagar, Gulmarg, and Pahalgam. This 6-night itinerary promises a delightful stay in comfortable accommodations and a range of exciting experiences.
Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel or houseboat. In the evening, enjoy a serene shikara ride on the world-famous Dal Lake. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Embark on a picturesque drive from Srinagar to Sonmarg, passing through charming towns and villages. Enjoy the scenic beauty of paddy fields and rivers along the way. Visit the Thajwas Glacier, located approximately 4 kilometers from Sonmarg (local taxi hire at your own cost). Sonmarg, meaning “Meadow of Gold,” offers breathtaking views. Return to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Gulmarg. In Gulmarg, experience the thrill of riding the world’s highest cable car, known as the “Gondola,” or enjoy a round of golf at the highest golf course in the world. Overnight stay in Gulmarg. (Gondola and pony ride not included) Note: During winter, snow jeep transfers from Tangmarg to Gulmarg are applicable in November and December (additional cost). No cars are allowed inside Gulmarg due to issues with the horse owner’s association.
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam (2440 meters), also known as the “Valley of Kashmir.” On the way, visit the Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins, Anantnag sulphur spring, Bat village, and apple orchards. Pahalgam is famous for its association with the Indian film industry. Enjoy the natural beauty of the valley and spend a few relaxing hours by the enchanting River Lidder. Overnight stay in Pahalgam. Note: In Pahalgam, horse riding and visits to Chandanwari, Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and Baisaran Valley are available at an additional cost.
After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar and explore the local attractions of the city. Visit the Mughal gardens, including Chesma Shahi (Mughal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of Bliss), and Shalimar (The Abode of Love). Overnight stay in Srinagar.
After breakfast, check out from your houseboat and transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey. Tour ends.
